Love it or loathe it, Facebook is more important to your business than you may realize. We’ve talked about Facebook Ads and Landing Pages previously. Facebook Pixel will let you see not only how many people have it made from your ad to your landing page, but it will give you important demographics letting you know who your ad appealed to the most.

Simply put, the Pixel is “A piece of code for your website that lets you measure, optimize and build audiences for your ad campaigns.”

Facebook Pixel is easy to set up and if you’re one of our clients we can help get you started. The first step to setting up your pixel is to get a Pixel code from Facebook. This code is then embedded in your website. Once that step is complete the rest of your work will be through Facebook Business Manager.

Once this code is a part of your website you will then be able to assign your Facebook Pixel to specific pages on your website. This will track traffic from your Facebook Ad to the page you are directing them to. It will also give you details about your potential clients such as age, occupation, and interests. This information can be used to refine your Facebook ads and increase your website traffic.

It would be impossible for me to explain every detail in this short article. Quite frankly someone could and probably has written an entire book on how to best utilize this powerful tool. Facebook has published some very simplistic directions on using Facebook Pixel. If you are a Two-Brain Business member, there are instructional videos there where Chris Cooper gives invaluable insight on how to utilize Facebook Pixel.

If you’re one of our clients and don’t already use Facebook Pixel, please send us a quick email and we’ll be happy to help get you started. Or you can get started yourself by clicking here.
